people2002 is a virtual machine running on Ganeti on Debian bullseye. It hosts the service People.wikimedia.org. All shell admin groups have access.
It is the currently active backend after we switched from people1003 on February 24th 2023.
Connecting
Connect to people2002 over ssh by proxying through a bastion (e.g. bast1003.wikimedia.org). As with other hosts, ensure you have ProxyJump configured in .ssh/config (see Production shell access). Then connect as follows:
