NetApp was a NAS solution we used for awhile in 2012 or so. We briefly tried using it for media storage prior to using Swift .

Service Processor

The NetApps have independent service processors which are connected to the management network. You can log in to them using

$ ssh naroot@netappname.mgmt.sitename.wmnet

Yes, the root account is called naroot , not root .
