people1001 is a virtual machine running on Ganeti. It hosts the service People.wikimedia.org. All shell admin groups have access.
It has replaced the former server rutherfordium in Phabricator:T210036.
Connecting
Connect to people1001 over ssh by proxying through a bastion (e.g. bast1003.wikimedia.org). As with other hosts, ensure you have ProxyCommand configured in .ssh/config (see Production shell access). Then connect as follows:
