mwmaint1002 is the maintenance host for Eqiad. It replaced mwmaint1001 in October 2018 which replaced terbium in July 2018.
Connecting
Connect to mwmaint1002 over ssh by proxying through a bastion (e.g. bast1003.wikimedia.org). As with other hosts, ensure you have ProxyJump configured in .ssh/config (see Production shell access). Then connect as follows:
user@laptop:~$ ssh mwmaint1002.eqiad.wmnet
Services
- noc.wikimedia.org
- Maintenance server: People log in here to run shell scripts that take a lot of time or CPU, or to run various MySQL queries.
